I do not feel pressure to look a certain way, I feel the pressure to meet my goals of achieving a sculpted body, nevertheless the media does not affect this. Why it is wrong to use steroids or weight-loss drugs to achieve this goal is portrayed in the media as a bad thing as well, so to say that the media is why people in the past few recent years have been on the rise to taking drugs, is incorrect. The real dis-order with with people who do not educate themselves on proper measures to achieve there wanted goal. If a girl is trying to get thin, an by not eating and taking fat-burners they think to achieve this then they are ill-informed. It is not the media's fault but the persons fault. Violence does make a good movie. What kind of action movie doesn't contain some kind of gun fight or fist fight. No I do not believe there is too much violence in some movies, it is all based on viewer descretion if you can't watch a video and no kill people afterwards then you should not watch the movie all together. No a fast paced film can no be action packed without violence because that is what makes it full of action

My main focus of my promotional video will be high school. My video would contain a mixture of testimonials, video images, and images. I would cover the new courses implemented into this school and also glamorize the extra curricular activites a little bit as well. Yes I would model is like the video I selected yesterday for the main reason that I found it appealing. I liked its use of tesimonials.

This type of video appealed to because the students in the video seemed very happy with choosing this college. The images and voice overs appealeds to me because they seemed very convincing and in the images the students seemed very happy. The target audience is implemented more towards upcoming students or people who are looking for good classes. The message the creators were trying to send is that these students chose this college and would never go back and change that decision. This video informs people that this college is the perfect choice for students looking to customize there classes. The video is persuasive because it tells all the good aspects of the college.

One of my past times is to sit down in my computer chair, kick my feet up, take a sip of my drink, turn the tv on and watch some of my favorite animation shows such as family guy. I used to like the simpsons but i rarely watch it now because I have seen all the episodes. No I do not think that family guy or other shows in general have taken anything to far, the tv show does not make you watch it and if you were to find it offensive then stop watching. If I was a parent I would let my child watch it at a reasonable age, usually the humour in these shows doesnt actually become relevant to a child until probably the age of 10-12. What's better, laughing at something on family guy or watching 9/11 re-runs on the news, which is worse for a child?

2nd blog

One thing I found interesting about the videos I watched today is that the detail and range of depth meaning graphics changed greatly. They are both animated and both have a simpleness to them nothing to complex. One thing I found different about the older cartoons compared to the newer ones of todays day and age is that the older ones weren't colored. I remember being younger and watching on tv, "Felix The Cat" but it wasn't black asn white it was in color. Yes I am surprised at how old the characters are, and no I am not surprised that they are still popular in todays culture and society because these characters were part of the foundation of animation. I think todays audience would not be as interested in the older characters unless they wanted a nostalgic feeling

FatKat Animation

Before this assignment I did not know anything about FatKat. Generaly I learned that fatkat is a animation studio located in Miramichi. I also learned that it is owned by Gene Fowler. The company was started in Halifax, Nova Scotia. FatKat is the largest animation studio in Atlantic Canada. I thought that the FatKat blog was very well constructed and enjoyed how thye had animations they created on the blog. There was nothing I really disliked about it.

A couple questions I have are:
